Cooper for North Carolina
It’s time to declare a state of emergency for public education in North Carolina.
The GOP introduced a private school voucher scheme that will pour your tax money into unaccountable private schools and cost public schools hundreds of millions of dollars. All while they give millionaires more large tax breaks! Their plan will shrink the state’s budget by almost 20%, making it almost impossible for schools to get the funds they need or teachers to get the raises they deserve. If they get their way, our State Board of Education will be replaced by political hacks who can dictate what is taught — and not taught — in our public schools. Politicians will police our children’s curriculum with book bans, eliminate science courses, and more. Their ideas spell disaster that requires emergency action. Watch my speech outlining my plan to fight back and add your name to show your commitment to fighting for our public education system >>>

| Standout element | Governor Cooper speaking directly to camera in official setting with urgent 'state of emergency' framing below the video |
| Tactic | The ad uses a dual-threat frame — fiscal alarm (20% budget cut) plus ideological threat (political control of curriculum) — to mobilize education voters against GOP voucher and tax policies. |
