Cindy Hyde Smith for US Senate

I was proud to be in the Oval Office with the President when he signed the FY26 appropriations package into law. This appropriations package delivers important benefits for Mississippi, including a provision I fought for to help keep Franklin County Hospital open. There is still much work to do to strengthen rural healthcare across our state, but this funding gives Franklin County Hospital a far stronger financial footing. Without it, the hospital could have been forced to close.
