The Committee to Elect David Roth

My opponent often talks about transparency, I have been struggling to find his stance on certain issues and am ever hopeful that he will choose to make his view known. I am very concerned about the recent Espinoza decision in the supreme court. On Tuesday Miranda's opponent made clear that Espinoza was in play and that education would be changing to give parents more flexibility. My opponent has posted on his Facebook page that he thinks Charter schools have a role to play in response to a question about what his plan would be to cut government funding for education. Earlier this week my opponent while on the Neal and Julie radio show talked about increasing parental choice. I gave a speech yesterday and made my position clear, and I reiterated my position today on a conference call with educators. I do not support school vouchers or direct public funding of private schools. As a private school administrator I feel it would undermine our ability to operate. I don't want to put words in his mouth so I hope that my opponent will live up to his Republican Platform and work to inform this voter. When he filed his objections he did not object to Article III Sec. 3 of the Idaho Republican Party Platform. Which would seem to indicate that he is in favor of school choice since he has so staunchly defended his Republican ideals, except for the written exceptions that he filed. So to my opponent, what is your stand on Public Funding for Private and Religious Schools?
