GRAHAM FOR MAINE

ad creative

The enemy is the oligarchy.

I’m not taking money from AIPAC or corporations, so any amount you can afford to give goes a long way.

I did four infantry tours in the Marine Corps and the Army. I’m not afraid to name an enemy: The enemy is the oligarchy. It’s the billionaires who pay for it. It’s the corrupt politicians – Republican and Democrat – who sell us out. People know that the system is screwing them. We feel it in our bones. Why can’t we have Medicare for All? Why are we funding Netanyahu’s genocide in Palestine? Why are CEOs more powerful than unions? My name is Graham Platner, and I’m the oyster farmer, Marine Corps veteran, and Democrat running for U.S. Senate to defeat Susan Collins here in Maine. I’m not pretending to have all the right answers, but I know I’m asking the right questions. We can build a system that will actually represent working people. But it means being willing to reject money from corporations, from AIPAC, and from special interests like Big Pharma and Big Oil. Susan Collins is the most vulnerable Republican senator in the country. If you’re ready to defeat Collins and replace her with a Democrat who is ready fight like hell against fascists, then I need you chip in right now to my campaign. Please, will you make a monthly donation right now to my campaign – whatever you can afford – to help me defeat Susan Collins and take back the Senate for Democrats? I won’t kowtow to AIPAC or billionaires. But that means I’m counting on your support now if we’re going to do this. I am so grateful for anything you can chip in to our campaign. In solidarity, Graham Platner

TacticPopulist anger appeal using class-warfare framing — positioning the candidate as a no-nonsense military veteran willing to name enemies that establishment politicians won't, while the coastal Maine backdrop and ActBlue donate prompt convert that anger into grassroots fundraising.
