I’m Jordan Wood, and I’m a Democrat running to defeat Susan Collins in the Senate. I’m humbly asking you to chip in $10 to help me do it. But first, I hope you’ll allow me the chance to introduce myself. I grew up in a close knit community. My dad was a minister and my mom was a teacher. We didn’t have a lot of money, but to us, nothing was more important than service. Those values are why I spent my career fighting to get big money out of politics and defeating election deniers. But after my husband and I decided to build our family, I realized that wasn’t enough. It’s not enough to be outraged that my daughter’s own Senator, Susan Collins, cast a crucial vote to confirm Justice Brett Kavanaugh and overturn Roe v. Wade. It’s not enough to be furious that our Senator voted in 2020 against the impeachment of a President who is nothing less than a wannabe dictator. So, I decided to do something with my fear and outrage: I’m running for office to be the fighter Maine deserves, and to do that we must defeat her. I’m not taking corporate PAC money, so I need an unprecedented grassroots movement to launch my campaign, flip this Senate seat, and take back our country. It would mean so much to have your support. Can I count on your $10?
