Susan Collins, her corporate donors, AIPAC, and the Republican establishment have blanketed Maine in TV ads against us. The way Democrats win back the Senate in November runs directly through the state of Maine. But in order to counter the Republican ads, I've had to do something that I really don't want to do. Which is to tell my team that we're going to go up on TV now, even though we don't really have the money in the budget to do so just yet. To beat Susan Collins is going to require taking some calculated risks. She's an entrenched politician with an immense amount of money behind her. Republicans have already decided to invest at least $50 million in this race. We don't have that money. But we're hoping that with your help, we can close the gap enough by running TV ads to protect us and counter the narrative that they're going to try to build. We're not taking money from corporate PACs or from AIPAC. We're only taking money from people like you. So I'm hoping that you can help us cover the $250,000 gap in our budget to counter what's going on now.
