SARAH ADLAKHA FOR SENATE
I’ve held a lot of jobs in my life, but two of my favorites were working as a paramedic and serving as a psychiatry resident at the VA. I didn’t just treat patients; I treated American heroes. I saw firsthand the physical and invisible wounds our veterans carry long after the battlefield. That’s why supporting our veterans isn’t political to me. It’s personal. I’m fiscally conservative and believe we must cut wasteful spending, but we should never balance budgets on the backs of those who sacrificed for this country. Policies like the Major Richard Star Act matter because combat-wounded veterans shouldn’t lose retirement pay simply because they were injured defending our freedom. Taking care of our veterans isn’t left or right. It’s our duty as Americans. 🇺🇸 #veterans #Mississippi #USSenate #MajorRichardStarAct
