Don’t be fooled. Politics can involve a lot of smoke and mirrors, and I believe Shelley Moore Capito’s allies were behind the recent confusion surrounding this PR attack. Make no mistake, I support our Second Amendment rights, and we will push through any attempt they make to deceive voters in this election. During this legislative session, as a state senator, I’ve taken action to DEFEND the Second Amendment. I was the lead sponsor of Senate Bill 963 to stop 'red flag' gun confiscation by REQUIRING due process, and I supported Senate Bill 30 expanding Constitutional Carry to West Virginians between the ages 18 to 20. Both of these important gun rights bills were passed through my committee, along with Senate Bill 1071. This election, we will STOP CAPITO-RED FLAG LAWS and any effort to undermine our constitutional liberties. I appreciate Gun Owners of America for their support and for telling their members what happened here.

TacticThe ad uses a Gun Owners of America article as borrowed credibility to defend the candidate's 2A record against an opponent-linked attack, framing him as the authentic pro-gun fighter while casting Capito's allies as deceptive manipulators.
