According to Idaho Capital Sun and Public Records... As of March 2026, U.S. Senator Jim Risch of Idaho is 82 years old. Born on May 3, 1943, he has served in the Senate since 2009 and is currently the oldest serving U.S. senator from Idaho. He is running for reelection in 2026 for a term that would end when he is 89. Im a lifelong local of North Idaho, and would be the First North Idahoan ever elected to US Senate, and the first Millennial if elected. I'm so tired of the lies from both sides - the divide is tearing our communities and families apart. There is no reason I can find that makes this acceptable. As a type 1 diabetic, I know my time on this earth is limited, my goals have always been public office, and this position would afford me the ability to make changes that would benefit Idahoans, not foreign interests. While foreign affairs are important, our daily lives are of more interests to me, especially where healthcare, affordability, education and so much more are of primary concern. I also feel, at this time in our history, it's of utmost importance to protect and defend our invaluable constitutional Gun Rights.(we have some of the best left in the U.S.,~ right here in Idaho) I'm a centrist - and It's very unfortunate I had to pick a "side" because both sides have been lying to all of us, and I'll tell you why I chose the side I did. Running as an independent was not a $viable$ option in this economy. Asking for donations from those of us struggling already is a huge ask. Im still asking but I know it's difficult for all. So I'm operating on a shoestring budget for these primaries. And the democrats have a "closed: primary this year. But if your a registered republican, the primaries are open - which means~ you can ask for the democrat ticket (instead of the republican one) to vote on in the primaries. This affords you the right to have an option and to pick from the lesser of all evils and choose someone who aligns with your values over another dem candidate that may get chosen or the possibility of Risch getting re-elected. All I ask, is you take a look at my initiatives. As you will see, I stand with Idahoans, not a party. I come looking to bridge divides and work with the people my webpage is full of helpful information on what I stand for~ Please, take a look, help me, help you. https://007bonds.vote
