Julie Emerson for Louisiana
Over the past two years, Gov. Landry and the Legislature have worked hard to secure more than $70 billion in new economic development, bringing historic opportunities to communities across Louisiana. But if we want to keep that momentum going and create generational jobs and real prosperity for our children and grandchildren, we must upgrade the infrastructure that supports it. That means better roads, bridges, drainage, high-speed internet, and the modern utilities that growing industries rely on. As Chairman of Ways and Means, I am proud of the significant investments we have made in infrastructure over the past two years. This is also why I am eager to take this work to Washington and be a champion for the kind of infrastructure that will carry Louisiana into the future. Louisiana is ready to grow. Now we need the foundation to support it.
