I'm Nathan Sage, the Democrat running for U.S. Senate against Republican Joni Ernst here in Iowa.
I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 2003 and served two tours in Iraq as a Marine. I did a third with the Army.
As a Marine, I knew my mission. And so did the countless Americans who stopped me at the airport or on the street to thank me for my service. I understood what my uniform represented, and I remembered the solemn oath I took every time I put it on.
I’m running to defeat Joni Ernst because while we both took an oath in the military to protect the constitution against all threats – foreign and domestic – only one of us seems to honor it.
Ernst won reelection with less than 52% in one of the closest Senate races in the country. In 2026, we are going to send her packing – but I need your help.
