It’s Graham Platner – the Marine Corps veteran, oyster farmer, and Democrat running against Susan Collins. After Senator Bernie Sanders endorsed our campaign, we held an absolutely electric rally together here in Portland, ME. And I could not feel more energized.
Here’s what I told the crowd of over six thousand: The people of Maine are done with fascism and oligarchy. We are done with a broken health care industry that prioritizes profit over people. We are done funding genocide. We are done with corporations and billionaires buying our elections. And we are done with corrupt politicians like Susan Collins who make it all happen.
Susan Collins is the most vulnerable Republican senator in the entire country. Maine is ready to send her packing into retirement – and I am ready to go to Washington and fight for working class people. But I need your help.
Susan Collins has taken millions from corporations and special interests like AIPAC. We can stand up to the oligarchy and fight back against the fascists who have taken over our government. But I need folks like you to chip in now if we’re going to defeat Susan Collins and take back the Senate for Democrats next November.
