There you have it, folks. President Trump just endorsed Mike Rogers.
Now, this isn’t the least bit surprising. Why?
This is Donald Trump telling Michigan voters, “No, YOU don’t get to pick your Republican nominee for Senate, I DO.”

Well, here’s some news for Trump. On our side, we believe in doing things a little bit differently. We believe in democracy. We believe in the will of the voters. We believe in letting you decide.
We believe that Michiganders are sick and f**king tired of letting corporations, billionaires, and wannabe dictators decide for you who your elected officials will be.
So, we’ve got a Democratic primary race on our hands — and a good one at that. We have multiple excellent candidates vying to earn your trust and your vote to be your next voice in the U.S. Senate.
That’s a good thing! And it means we’ve got a campaign to run.
Rogers is out there on his own because Republicans are too scared to challenge King Trump.
Their bet is that saving Mike Rogers from spending any money now means he will be better positioned to win in the general election.
They’re betting that we will spend down all of our money. They’re betting that we are going to tear each other down, and that when that happens, they can just skate into the seat without actually having to earn it.
Well, Michigan, it’s time to prove Trump wrong and hand Mike Rogers another big L.
The latest poll shows that I’m the ONLY Democratic candidate in this race who can beat Mike Rogers in the general election campaign. But we’ve got to win our primary election first, because Michigan, guess what? In a democracy, YOU decide. Not the establishment, not wealthy donors, and certainly not Donald Trump. You.
