The Big 4 Packers wield too much power on our beef supply. What is there to investigate? Sell-Out Cindy, who is a cattle rancher, has called to investigate the meat packers and even to create an office of "special investigator". Cindy, you're in the business, why do you need to investigate what's obvious? These 4 companies who control 85%+ of the industry have seen their profits and market share rise for years all while they sucked the lifeblood out of ranchers and our rural communities, which are now DECIMATED! Have there been other outside factors that aggravated this? Of course. But the correlation of mass corporate consolidation, increased input prices and declining profits seen by producers, and the economic hollowing out of our once proud rural communities is clear. That's why I wrote the CATTLE Act. My CATTLE Act will permanently break the consolidation in the meat packing industry, increase the stability of our food supply, create tons of new regional and local jobs, and return profits to producers instead of mega-packers. I'm glad this issue is finally getting talked about. However, we need someone who actually has a plan and is true ag to make sure this is a problem solved, not just more press-release politics. I need your vote and support on March 10th in the Republican primary to secure this Senate seat for a consistent conservative who can get the job done. andrewscottsmith.com #ConsistentConservative #AndrewScottSmith #USSenate2026 #USSenate #Mississippi #selloutcindy #trueag P.S. she said she got tariffs removed on fertilizer to help farmers but previously and recently advocated publicly for tariffs. What happened there, are you one of the "fools" who don't believe in the tariffs now? πŸ€”
