WKRN News 2 shared this report on January 9, 2024. (An excerpt, link below) I have had a focus on education because it seems that the TN State Legislature does not have a vested best interest of our children in mind. Their gainsmanship, brinksmanship, and temper tantrum antics of wanting to mis-fund the success of our children's Public school education by $1.2B is proof that we have to be willing to fight the good fight of faith from the local school board all the way to the U.S Senate. #GoodTrouble Because of what they are considering, it appears that as a U.S. Senator, I would have an even greater influence in derailing their negative actions toward Public Education. As a mom and Nana of Public School students, a teacher in the Public School system, and a former School Board member, I can see firsthand how this type of "collaboration" would cripple generations of our children and their families. We must continue to make Public Schools a "Best First Choice." #InvestInOurChildren #StandingForOurChildren #StandingForPublicEducation #StandingForTeachers #StandingForParents #StandingForGenerations #WeMustStand Together. We Win. One Kitchen Table at A Time. Share. Donate. Vote. www.civilforsenate.com https://share.newsbreak.com/5v1eo711
