As much as I was heartbroken by all I saw Wednesday, I was blessed to meet some phenomenal people doing amazing work for the community. Michael Whatley has forgotten Western North Carolina. Promised assistance never arrived. Yet, the people continue on doing the best they can with what they have. These people inspire me!
