We celebrated National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day January 9th and I thank my fellow law enforcement officers for their service. North Carolinians deserve better than the current status quo. Murder and property crime in Charlotte are higher than the national average. This is simply NOT acceptable. It will take a former law enforcement officer to drive innovative solutions to keep our cities in NC and nationwide safe. I have the real life experience to make that happen. As your next U.S. Senator, I will work tirelessly to keep our cities safe by securing and allocating funding for immigration enforcement and deportations, more officers on the streets, more courts and judges to provide due process in an efficient manner, and any other legislation that effectively keeps North Carolinians and Americans safe.
